Is there a fig called (ISU)?

Hello!! all, I am new to this forum. I recently purchased some cuttings off of ebay and they claimed it was an ISU. I assumed it was a typo but when i recieved the cuttings it still said ISU. Is there such a variety? I was hoping to be getting LSU cuttings!! any help here would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

Just Isu? Anything after that? Purple, gold, yellow, tiger, champagne?

I'm sorry!! yes! ISU Purple is the claim.

Yes, there is LSU Purple fig:

There are many varieties with prefix LSU (referring to Louisiana State Univ.)

LSU Purple.

Louisiana State University.

A great variety.

But is there such a variety called (ISU Purple) not LSU Purple.

My guess is somewhere along the lines someone didnt have their caps lock on :)  LSU Purple is what it likely started out as.  Ever play the game "Telephone", its amazing what starts at one end is never the same as what comes out the other.

Yes. Thats exactly my sentiment. Just thought I would check to see if you all might know something I did'nt. I thank you for your help.
