Is there a ratio of leaves to fruit?

I am wondering if there is an ideal ratio of number of leaves per fig. Or is there any way, besides age of tree, to judge if a plant has too many, can there be too many, figs.
just wondering because one of my trees, a brown turkey from Grimo, about 4 feet tall, lots of branches and about 20 main crop figs.
Thanks

I kinda think the tree knows how many figs it can support. No basis for proving that - just my impression. If you are worried, remove some that are closest to the growing tip.

For what its worth, I left about 12 figs on a 1 gallon fig tree last year, first tree, after I was disappointed with the size and flavour, this year the figs are now huge and I have pruned some off because what i saw last year and what people say here is that I want to make sure I have good figs to come later.  This was a smaller tree though so it may be different for you.

Thanks for the responses.
not so much that I was worried about it, but just wondering since some fruit trees do like to be thinned out for better production. Well, maybe a little concerned since this tree also dropped all of its breba near the beginning of may
Given the time of year and length of the growing season here I will be removing any new main crop that show up.
Hopefully, I'll have some pics of this one and of some unknowns near the end of the summer.
