Okay I have been having a debate with myself over the thought of TO MUCH WATER????? If my potting medium is well drained is it possible to over water my fig tree? I am installing a drip system to cover me when I am away and I am watering my large pots 5 gal with 1 gal. every morning. My smaller 1 gal are getting 1 quart every morning. Now these trees are in well drained soil and the excess water runs out the bottom of the pot. Am I doing damage by over watering these trees I have mixed osmocote into the soil and every sunday they get a shot of liquid fertilizer 1/2 strength. So far they look good and healthy but I am new to this and don't have experience with long term damage.. Let me have your ideas and experiences so I can enjoy healthy trees..
