Is this a brown turkey fig?

Just curious to know if this is a characteristic of the brown turkey the white dimples, got this from a box store, and I hear they are notorious for mislabeled figs.

i would say "yes" because of red eye (and green ischia usually lighter green). I believe the white spots are more environmental than cultivar-specific.

I don't think it is Brown Turkey

But those spots arn't on my other varieties only 3 others of my 30, is it typical of brown turkey in other environments?
Thank

Read Ira Condit's "Fig Varieties: A Monograph" (available as a downloadable PDF on my website).  Those spots are what he calls "white flecks" and occur on many, many Varieties!

The PDF should be mandatory reading for everyone on this Forum.

Thanks for the responce, what are other varieties sold at box stores? Trying to narrow down what it isn't, maybe I have to wait for the figs to ripen!
