Calling on the people that are smarter than me. Last year I received three cuttings that were labeled as Adriatic. Two of them look the same but one is an animal of a different color. It has red stems and large single lobed leaves. Which one might be the impostor?  Unfortunately, I don't remember where I got these.  So, therefore, they are all basically unknown, to me, anyway.

The first two pix are the ones that are alike.  The rest of the pix are of the impostor.

The single lobed fig looks a lot like my Palmata hybrid.

Thanks, it looks very similar. I see the last leaf on yours is starting to have three lobes. How long did it take for that? Mine has yet to show any difference last year till now. I rooted it last April, maybe when it has figs we can get a better idea. I enjoy reading your post and looking at your plants. For i have been bitten by the bug also. Maybe one day we will be satisfied with what we have......LOL. I think I have a better chance of winning the lottery.

Might be Adriatic, maybe. Fruit will give better idea.

The single lobe leaf looks like Afghan A or Caucasus 3 - but they are not common.

 Lo and behold our fig tree is now comming out with a 3 lobed leaf. now it looks exactly like the one you have pictured. Will post pictures later.
