I've been trying to figure this fig out. It is quite sweet and has a berry taste also. I think it could be an Adriatic. The only thing that tells me otherwise is the leaf.

Definitely by the leaves this is not Adriatic.

 They are deffinately different than JH Adriatic. I thought I seen a post where Herman mentioned that classic Adriatic has different leaves than JH. But same taste.

My is regular Adriatic and leaves are similar like RdB.

i was given large branches of Adriatic..and the leaves are NOT like yours. You have a rare special.

Dont look like Adriatic leaves from UCD either.

Wow! I was totally off. This fig is a keeper. I just wish I could put a name to it.

Mine are in pots. But I got this one from an inground/unprotected tree. It's not even against a wall or fence. In the middle of the yard.

We are all human, and the trades fly among us, and things get a little confusing at times!  I got my Adriatic from Alexis AKA LandscapeWitch.  She hasn't been here for a while and I worry, but I'm sure she's just fine.  She didn't send me cuttings.  A whole plant.  I owe her one back (plus a few extras to = the bonuses she sent to me), and she's gonna get the best I got!  I worry about everyone when they don't post for a while, but we all have other lives.  I'll be out of posting range for 3 days this week.  Our anniversary will be in the high sierra's at a ski lodge....  oh my! No Wi-fi!

Is this one similiar to your Adriatic? I don't have any fig pictures. These were too small to get figs. I ate a bunch from the mother tree. It is my best white fig.

Yes it is I think it looks the same as mine.

Now I know why everybody raves about Adriatic.

I do agree that Adriatic is one of better green figs.
