Was kindly given a dozen or so small light green figs today with an extremely tight eye which were a couple of days from being dead ripe, but they were still sweet. Tasted a lot like Italian Honey but look nothing like Italian Honey (fruit and eye both too small). Leaf shown is an approximate representation. If this isn't LSU Gold, any clue what it is? Jon's infamous unknown greek? Something else? (I know it's not Gilette)

Weird.... And pretty! How did it tast for you
Jason,I don't think it's LSU Gold. Color and meat are off. Here is a sample from mine. The first is a few days unripe. The other is perfect.
Taste: Sweet, nutty/crunchy, diluted honey flavors.
The neck and frut shape look like st Anthonys But that leaf looks offMaybe malta purple red if its not Gillette.
Gillete has more club-shaped petals than this and they're more round than pointed. I will check out St Anthony's. Other suggestions welcome. I suck at ID'ing green figs.
Definitely not St Anyhony. These are bright yellow-green. St Anyhony is purplish.
Jason I have one from el
Jason, The fruit kinda reminds me of the Sao Miguel White pics posted by Dominick last year. Pete
