Is this improved celeste?

I got this a few months ago as a tiny rooted cutting of LSU improved celeste on ebay from a reputed seller based out of Louisiana. Based on some photos I saw, it appears doubtful that this is IC. IC supposedly has 3 lobes mostly in young plants unlike this one which has 5 lobes.

Am I mistaken? If not, what variety could this be?

You mean this is more likely an O'rourke? That is what I thought.
Thanks

Yes my guess would be o'rorke but remember it's a small young tree and hat leaves at this point are discounted till a year from now to get a true educated guess in my opinion. These two tree are often confused with one another. Look at some of my post's on Ic & oroukie

I have a young Improved Celeste fig tree in ground and the leaves don't look like that. I know that O'Rourke and Improved Celeste are often mislabeled, but both are well thought of. The Improved Celeste tree has rounded leaves and most are 3 lobed, sometimes it almost looks like one lobe.

Here are pics from my Improved Celeste tree. I read on this forum that the two are often mislabeled, and that what was being sold as an "O'Rourke" at the website Petals of the Past was actually an Improved Celeste, so that is what I purchased last year, and this is it in ground, an Improved Celeste that was mislabeled as O'Rourke. By the way, the tree I got from Petals of the Past was very healthy and I would buy from them again. My tree has been in ground for little more than a year, suffered cold damage, grew new branches and gave me dozens of figs this year. I'm in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, 8b
