I noticed these markings on allot of my figs recently and found out from my mother that my dad has been adding slow release fertilizer to my plants & liquid fertilizer at the same time. This is what the figs look like could this be due to over fertiling? Also noticed the newer leaves turned almost a golden colour and some purple stains on the new growth. Picked off over 50 unripe figs like this yesterday.

here are pictures i took this morning of my pastiliere, during spring plant displayed FmV in the leaves then now it hides in summer.

They seem to show similar spots as yours do, judge for yourself.  ; )

In my case i highly doubt mine is do to over fertilization , all my plants get the same .
