Ischia Black Cuttings May Be Needed

Hi,
i might be in need of ischia black cuttings  and or small plants. i post this now as im not completely sure but will know sometime Monday if the expense is in my budget for someone i have in mind to do lab work for me.
Most people frequent the fig forums on weekends so if you have some spares you dont need of "ischia black only" preferably ucdavis ones please email me with details at
Dieseler@aol.com or thru forum mail which sometimes might or might not work in some cases.

Dan,
thanks for replying, a message has been send to you.

Im happy to say one dormant plant i recieved is being sent out Monday to work with any more i recieve will also be sent.
One day in future i  hope to post what happened.

Martin,

Good luck on you B. Ischia project!

Thanks to all involved!

Cecil, thanks!
I like to thank you Robert if you see this for sending dormant plant.
Hope i can get a few more to send for better odds (more buds ) .
Robert also please look at email i sent you.
Thanks

Up date, 1 plant was sent to lab for work, 1 other plant was kept as i recieved it a month later and decided to fertilize the heck out of it and keep it in full sun. When first posted my intention was to hopefully get a group of these to send out together not 1 here 1 there. Its been several months and to make a long story short as possible the original plant is coming along well showing no signs of FMV,but he said he knows its there although its dealing with it as a fig plant with it that does well that most of us have in our gardens. Its now being bottom fed with a special regimant of fertilization and he hopes to propagate off of it for further lab work.
Next update in few months .

Congrats Martin,

Good luck!

Martin,

Great work. I hope they manage to eliminate the UCD fig mosaic strain, since BI seems so affected by it.

Update to this thread.

I received my UcDavis Ischia Black back from lab and very short of words all i can say is
WOW.

Many thanks to you Robert for originally giving me the UcDavis specimen you rooted.

Many thanks to forum member (you know who you are) for suggesting place to send it to he always spoke highly of you in our conversations.

Many thanks to the man at the lab.

I did not want to mention any names perhaps they do not want me to - other than Robert who's name was mention 2 years ago.

Martin

I will send some Black Ischia cuttings soon

George
