--- Ischia White main (PIX)

Here is the Ischia White main crop fig. Dead ripe.
As you can see, the plant itself is quite compact, on a dwarfish side, the pot is 2 gal. Very productive and healthy looking. The cutting was rooted in March 2013.
The blackish fig for a comparison is a Gino’s black, it is a bit spoiled so not much to talk there.
The Ischia White was a pleasant surprise! Very tasty and juicy. Not crunchy, with the sweet skin. It is keeper for me!

What is the difference between an Ischia White and Green? By the way, White looks real nice but the Gino's...hot d*^+ !

The White and Green are totally different.
The tree sizes (White is very compact ), fig size, color and taste.
I have read somewhere why it is called Ischia but I do not remember, something about the leaf shape or so.

Thanks, I will have to search out a white and give it a try if you are saying the white taste better than the green.

Well, I didn't say the White tasted better (or worse ).
They are both very good but different

Okay, I have green so I guess I am set.
