Several years ago, I purchase a tiny Blue Ischia from one of those online nurseries. I was new to figs and did not know any better. There was a lot of talk about Black Ischia. So I said to myself Blue, Black etc..
How different could those figs be?
I left this one neglected in a five gallon bucket. One season it gets attacked by voles and another it spends its time recovering.
Well today, I've got my answer as to how a Blue Ischia should looks like. I was laughing as I posted this.
It has no sign of Blue, Purple or Black. By having other figs I know now what it is.
The moral of the story is that if something is too good to be true, it probably is.
