Filacciano?

Is that a variety or just an Italian word? The seller says she was told it looked like a "funlenchano" but is not sure of the spelling.

It is a fig name, I have one in a 1gl pot. But for now I don't have any info on it.

From the website,
Matures fiorone (i.e. breba) starting about July 10 in my area. Fall crop requires caprification in order to mature; Wood is more resistant to frost damage than others; This variety originates in the Lazio region; the name ‘filacciano” is a local Lazio term for “fiorone”.

Don't take my word on this because I am not 100% sure but the word "Fiorone" is somehow connected to large figs.

Don't think it's the Falicciano Bianco. I think that is the name she was told, I just don't think that is the variety she has. When someone has a picture of the developing fruit but no others, I get suspicious. Thanks guys!

I have seen this and another listed for the past 2 years.

Falicciano is suppose to be a san pedro type fig. My tree is in its 3rd season. No figs yet. My tree is from Adriano.

Well...I won the auction! Paid $19.50 plus S&H. I did find an Italian variety named Fico Fillacciano/Filacciano that may be a match. According to the seller, her tree produces one crop beginning late June in TN. Time will tell!
