It's a beautiful day today.

It's the beginning of a Saturday, and it's really nice. Think I'll go outside and transplant some more young figs.

Life is good.

That's all. :)

Yes it is Gina. 85 and sunny here today.

Something does feel special about this Saturday.
I just finished potting summer sprouts from my Verdone,
Sal's Gene, Improved Celeste, Lyndhurst White,
along with an unknown purple air layer.

There are 3 more Violet de Bordeaux figs
ripening, and I'm watching them like a hawk.
The sky is clearing, and the sun feels warm.

Hooray for Saturday!

Really nice here in MD as well, almost too hot for October.

Yes indeed!

I just watered everything. It's supposed to get into the 80s today. It's already 78 in the house at 10:45am local time.

Great day indeed!

A glorious day here too! Hubs mentioned that the thermometer on the car said 94F and I told him it was called Indian Summer. Enjoy it while it lasts! I planted my Loquat and a dwarf gardenia this morning and making a large batch of yogurt this afternoon....Steaks on the grill for dinner....ahhhhhhh. :D

86 here yesterday and heading for about the same today. We've had such a long stretch of clear sunny warm days it's almost like Philly is in San Diego. But still no sign of my Black Madeira ripening. I'm ever hopeful though and have Black Ischia and others to hold me over while I wait

Same here nice fall day kinda humid as it may rain.
Tree turning colors.

Cutting grass i was next to our 2 black madeira trees on patio and saw 1 that had fell to the ground.
Got off tractor and plucked into mouth and said to myself - another season still best fig in yard.

The knocked spiget off the rain barrel when tractor steered itself to close to it , finished cutting and fixed the rain barrel for the awaiting rains.
