Rain has not stopped for three days and have 3 more days coming. View out my window. And my lulu is scared of the rain ever since Katrina.

UGH! I feel your pain!  We've gotten 2+ inches of rain the past couple days, with another 2-3 in the forecast.  This came JUST after I watered by plants and moved some cuttings outside.  As I've got everything in pots, I worry about overwatering, especially given the youth of my cuttings.  Not to mention, my big LSU purple has been curling its leaves every time it rains, so I know its completely soaked and stressed out.

I actually moved all my potted figs onto my deck today under the eaves to keep them dry....except my LSU purple, which thanks to the rain weighs 200+ lbs right now :-/ I covered the base with plastic to try to keep it dry for the next week.

April showers I guess...right?

Still raining its 1030 at night. Two more days they say.

Lucky you . I'm scheduled to go with my watering can all over the garden this evening.
My dirt is bone dry - getting sandy and jarry - dry clay makes excellent jars they say ...
We should be getting April showers ... But we're getting nothing but dry weather ...
My dirt is like rocks on some sides of the garden ... Really unworkable. My only chance is to water to soften the dirt.

You probably shoulf till in some pine bark and sand to make it have more airy and water will pass through it more easily. Good luck with some rain coming your way.
