It's been unseasonably warm the past few days, with it being 64 as I write this.

Last fall was fairly warm too, if I remember correctly. Climate change is hard to ignore anymore.

This is my first post- I just registered. I sure hope it is a mild winter here in NJ also! We've had very warm days (60's and up to 70!) since the snow storm hit 2 weeks ago. Lots of Fall clean up the past few days. I just pruned my 2 fig trees and put the cuttings in plastic bags and put those in the refrigerator (as per Bill's Figs in Flemington NJ.) I'm brand new to growing figs, but not to eating them and loving them! I hope mine make it over the winter and produce many wonderful figs next Summer!

As for the past summer, it was good for my figs so it was good for me (whatever caused it).
This fall weather was (is) good too and gave me many opportunities to take my plants to safety but other things coming in the way and delaying it. I have one more good day tomorrow with reasonable temperatures to move in the remaining plants. I hope I do.
