Izbat an Naj fig

I would think our Jon would want this one, since he's got so many varieties of bananas!  Thanks for sharing another of your special figs!

Thanks for the info Marius.  Please let us all know how well it survives the winter.  I know there are a bunch of us northerners who are interested in that topic (winter protection and cold hardiness).  Third winter sounds a little bit iffy, but hopefully the wall protects it from cold wind, and provides it a little extra heat.  Really interested to hear how it does through the winter.  (And if it does well, also to hear what else you did... e.g. how severely you pruned in the fall, whether left any growing tips exposed, etc.).  Good luck with it Marius!

p.s.  good luck also with the family discussions about winter protection.  :-)   Another option on that front would be to just protect some of them (the most vulnerable).

Marious, with these many trees, do you have excess figs for sale? Do you make jam?

Every time this trail is updates, I see this banana fig, I start drooling. What is wrong with me?
