You will love the size of these figs. It would help if you understand Japanese.

I love the skin, I only remove the stem.
Those figs are humongous. Japanese love giant fruit like Godzilla. They seem to be the variety known is Dauphin. They will get that size with the irrigation a the fertilizers they use. To me It doesn't look very sweet.

I bit they sell them for $10 each in Japan.

I must say, I prefer a whopping flavorgasm from a smaller package over a huge package with mediocre taste any day.

Bigger isn't always better (says the guy with small figs ;) )
