JH Adriatic

The first JH of this year. It's one of the white figs that can compete with the dark ones. Gave it a 9.

I have two of them.

Lost mine to the cold winter. Was hoping to discover for myself what you have described.

I have a couple or so but have to wait until next year for fruit, a 9 is worth the wait. Thanks Art.

Looks nice. Thanks for sharing.

It's one of my favorites.

Thanks for sharing Art.  I have some coming hopefully want be long now.  They will be my first from this variety and am looking forward to tasting them.

Art, do you have any problem with them splitting even in dry weather. I have ripened a few and they were great tasting but many of them start to swell rapidly and split at the eye before they ripen. In a few days they are split completely wide open but not ripe. The ones that do ripen don't swell as much and develop brown sugar spots and taste great.

Gene,
I had one split badly a couple weeks ago but it was during rain. I have another one ripening now, I will see how it does.

Mine was an 11 out of 10- it is one of the best white figs in my collection! If I had room for only one white fig (sorry Martin), it would be this one.
