has anyone grown these two togather before? if so, can you see any similarity? i think Calvert has both single lobe and 5 lobe leaves, but then again the thing is so full of FMV, i can't say if that is really the case. JH Adratic i have shows only single lobe leaves. but they both seems to show similiar growth habbit and from the pictures, the figs are some what similar. green with dark red inside. any experience with both? i'm hoping to see figs from both this yr.

Keep JH Adriatic,and discard Calvert before somehow the fig MV,moves on your JH Adriatic.
It is one of the worse strain or a combination of strains,of FMV.
It should not be propagated ever,by amator growers from cuttings.
If it wasn't infected it will be the same fig.
Calvert ,Black fig 1,Ischia Black,Skardu Black,and others should be only propagated by laboratory that knows how to obtain a clean cultivar from a diseased one.
