JH Adriatic pic.

Now that's what I'm talking about! Man was that good! The outside of this fig was a little ugly but the inside was beautiful.
It's probably the only JH I will get to eat this year. I can't wait until next year to get more. It might be my favorite to date, JH gives my Chiappetta a good run.

Nice pics Art. I'm looking forward to mine .

What do people say? It's what is on the inside that counts.

Nice looking fig, Art. thanks for sharing.

Nice looking fig Art, hope you will have more figs to eat next year.

thanks for sharing.

Nice pics Art.  It's the only one I'm still currently seeking.

By the way, the Chiappetta Unk here has figs on it (but they came late enough I'm not expecting them to ripen this year).

Glad to hear it tasted great!  It's beautiful looking too :-)

Looks great!  Hope mine will ripen a few this year   :)

What a wonderful gift from JH. Simply a must have fig for every collection. Productive at every node and exceptionally flavorful, solid, and well balanced. You can't eat enough of them!

To those that have tasted this fig. How would describe the taste? I think it has a taste of it's own. It is surely intense and lingers.
This is a variety that you should have two or three of.

Art, you are right on. It has it's own identity. I picked mine a little too soon because I was so excited to taste this fig.

Thanks for sharing your photos Art. Very nice. Glad you had a chance to sample one. I still have hope. Meanwhile, it looks like the green/yellow figs occupy the ugly but awesome mafia. JH Adriatic and Smith may be the Dons.

Nice pictures Art. Is your JH in the ground there in Pittsburgh?

No not yet. It's too young. I do plan on putting one in ground one day.
