Well as usual I went out to tell my fig trees good morning!

JH Adriatics are some mighty good tasting figs......think hungry possum to keep the peace in the family... (;<

my sister in law saw my trees and asked my wife if she can have one. i had to explain to her that they are three different fig trees. she said "figs are figs." told her i'll root one for her in spring. thinking back, i should have just some how got out of it. i have two sister in laws. if i root one for one, i have to do it for the other. and if one tree does better than the other, i'll won't hear the end of it.

ha ha ha. Good laugh for the day Figluvah.........don't forget luv thy neighbours. That is one reason I write the BIG $$$$ signs prominently on my trees. Get many friends wanting a free tree and guess what .....next season I asked how's the tree doing..... FIG HEAVEN or doing miserably.

I am also in love with this cultivar.I can see it will become my favorite white fig.
And so I planted 4 trees ,initially 2,2yrs ago, and 2 more this Spring.
This is based on the ripe fruits i tasted from them.
This Summer I had a Breba ,ripe at this point,and it was very good,for a Breba and coming from a young tree.
Main crop few figs were excellent tasting for such young plants last Year.

Check with Rafed. Hew was looking to replace a couple fig trees. And he has a truck.

Jason & Figluvah, ya you guys are right. Rafed offered to even deliver JH Adriatic cuttings to my doorstep. Mentioned he was cruising thru Texas & coming North. Hmm, I would not mind having some JH Adriatic cuttings. LOL.
Rafed, you are most welcome and I will make sure you are well fed & go back with more goody stuffs. By the way, since BEAR is gone -- the replacement is a Ridgeback. A bigger one with more power in the canines.

Thanks Rafed. Currently we love this new puppy. He sure eats a lot & unfortunately comes out lots at the other end too. Very smart. Hope you get your wish. Its a powerful dog. Last evening news, a police lady in BC had to put 5 bullets to stop a rogue Bull Mastiff.
