Jon / Rafed inspiration for a 1-node wonder

After seeing their posts on 1-node wonders I just had to try it as a whim, problem is it worked.  But, ummm I don't remember what it is.  So, if you ever experiment and you think it will fail, record the info somewhere cause it may just work.

This is a 1-3 inch one node cutting I "planted" between two boxwoods.  I say planted because the only thing I could do is barely scrape back some mulch, really didn't dig much into the ground, covered it back up and waited.  I'm very surprised since this has been in the ground since Dec, through some rain and cold.  I though it was going to rot in the ground for sure but last week, well take a look...

Great job!  Write down what possibilities there are (what fig cuttings you had available) and when it fruits post photos of leaves and fruit, inside & out, list the possibilities and I'll bet you get an ID.

These things really grow like weeds.  Very inspiring to see.

Blessed TX soil... nice, very nice!
