This is a Jordanian fig that I'm trying to identify its local name. It was brought to Syria from Jordan, was selected for its sweetness and its very large size. Mine didn't ripen yet, This is only its first year. The tree grew about 5' tall already.
I hope in ripens for you bass. I guess only time will tell if it is really a late ripening one or will ripen when the plant gets matured.I am amazed at the close nodes on the branch. It does not happen to any of my fig plants in my location.
