I would like to share some pictures of some Jolly Tigers that I am starting , I started them March 2nd " Love that coir "
You are a very Jolly guy there Dave. What's your plans with all of those ?
Good contrast against the place mats :)
Dave, Are there any roots showing through the plastic cup?I am asking because I am getting very fast leaf growth without roots. However, all the cuttings do have roots now at varying degrees of growth. I believe it is the heat combined with the ambient lighting in the room. The last batch of cutting I planted directly into potting mix and kept in a dark place. Let us see how it comes out.
Forgot to mention that they look great!
Dave, what brand coir are you using? The coir I have is not as chunky as yours. The one I have is "Nature's footprint" that I bought from Amazon.
rich these are variegatedcoop trade .. ebayako you like that :-)mat i see some very fine roots the coir is Roots Ct
Pretty little sprouts. They are so cute at that stage. :)At what stage does the variegation become more prominent?
Dave are you sure they're variegated? I would think that with that many cuttings going you'd see some kind of variegation going on. At least I do on mine when I start cuttings. There was a person selling cuttings on ebay that weren't variegated, I hope the buyers saw that the seller did say they AREN'T variegated.
very healthy cuttings arfully placed. You have talent.
Very healthy looking, Dave!
Scott I have 2 that I started about 4 months ago, the first baby leaves were all green as they larger they became more variegated , all these cuttings the wood is very nicely striped there a long way from going on ebay we shall see
I hope they turn out like you want them too...so far they're looking very healthy!!
So do I Scott, I hate putting my foot in my mouth :-)
Very nice Dave.
