Looking good. I really enjoy the whole process of taking a cutting and turning it into a beautiful little plant.  Also really like the plant tags you have on them. Did you make them or can you buy them somewhere? They look 100% functional and I want something like that for my trees and small plants.

Looks great Justin!!! Keep us updated on your progress.

Thanks! I got those metal tags from gemplers.com
It's like $17.00 for 100 of them so like $0.17 each, and they work great, they will never fade cause you imprint on the soft metal! Very cool tags!

Hello
This is the result of my great rooting experiment this year. I tried 4 different methods to see which did the best for me. I used the bag method, it did not go so well. I tried rooting in just sand. I had high hopes for that because it would surely be the easiest. That is the way my father used to root just about anything, sand in an old fish aquarium. For me it was worst than the bag method. The 3rd way was Miracle grow potting mix and the 4th was potting mix and perlite 50/50. They were nearly 100%. Out of 88 cuttings 56 are now in 1 gallon pots. I guess that is not so bad for a first try. None have the making of figs on them. I am always amazed when people put pictures of those tiny little trees with figs all over them.

They look awesome! I started with about 30 cuttings, and ended up successfully rooting about 15, so about half, problems was I tried rooting about 10 or 12 col de dame Gris, all rooted within 2 weeks super strong tons of starter roots then they all died for no reason, all but 1 and the one that's alive is so slow to do its thing but it's growing, not top growth, but root growth! it's in perlite and vermiculite clear cups and I'm getting long thin roots all around the perimeter of the cup, not many but it's rooting good!

Congratulations!
