This is a pick of me,  newnandawg (Mike) holding Greek Figs Kesariani at my good forum friend
Strudeldog's (Phil) farm. He has an unbelievable place with a huge fig orchard, persimmons, pomegranates and mulberries.
Not to mention the chickens and I am sure other stuff that I have failed to mention.
I certainly did enjoy my visit and lunch again thanks to his lovely wife.

I agree Mike, I always love my visits to Strudeldog farms.  No finer person around.

Cool photo. Would you please compare how those taste with yours from last year? I wondering if those being grown a little farther north from you and subtle differences in growing practices differ the taste in a noticeable way. Thanks for sharing.

The Pleasure was mine, enjoyed the visit ,brave of you to venture out here in the sticks.   I am not sure about huge fig orchard, but 1.5 year into here I am making progress and will get there.  A lot of variety of young fruiting plants will see what all pans out.  

 Goss ,  Strudeldog Farms has a ring but that  would be my Ellijay place Strudel  did not make it here  he is buried on the ridge above the cabin there at the place he loved,  I  did make one more step to farm status today. My Barn passed final inspection and a farm needs a barn.

Rafed,  You really want me to take pictures of the inside of Mike’s hand?  I guess today there was more pickin and grinnin not so much pic. I did post some inside shots in a group settings couple days last week but will try and post some better pics of it here within a few days when some are ready. BTW that flash of silver below Mike’s  hand will be on a bus north at some point. the best I have is this one right now
