Just Brought a New 22" Pot for my Fig, but....

Hi all, quick question, need answers from the experts! Just brought a New 22" Pot for my Neri Fig, but How big of the hole should I drill at the bottom of the pot? Should I drill a lot of small holes or few large holes?

First time transferring a fig from pot-to-pot, little nervous........ Want to make sure everything is perfect! Thanks!

I use a 3/4 inch paddle bit seems to work well enough. My
Personal preference is to do a bunch on the bottom and a few around the base.

I would go with about ten to fifteen 1/2in. holes.  1/3in. would be fine too but add few more holes.

I transferred my Italian Ever bearing to one of those tubs you buy at Lowes or HD with the rope handles and I drilled about twenty 1/2in. holes.

Good luck

I prefer 5-6 holes around the base of the pot sides, approximately 1" from the base.

Ditto, what Jason said.

1 got 10 gallon tub with rope handle. put 5 1" holes on the bottom, and 3 on the side. i didn't want the bottom to fall off.

Guys, Thanks for the suggestions! I have to get to work now!
