My wife caught me rubbing a leaf from a cutting behind my ear this morning.  I said ' It's for you honey. I know how much you like figs!'  'You had a better chance wearing it as clothing then trying to smell like it!'

I wonder if it causes fig dermatitis? I'm not willing to try and see!

I read somewhere about that. I am assuming the latex produced has something to do with it.

The latex from fig leaves can be used to treat warts. Maybe the fig leaf cologne doubles as compound-w.
