Great pictures Michael !

Makes it look like the mice bit the wire and was immediately decapitated.  Hmm, I wonder if a squirrel trap could be designed on the same principle.

Any squirrel trap is worth trying.
Something stole my first ripe MBvs figs today. And I saw my first groundhog yesterday (pasture bastards)
This mouse was pretty desiccated and who know's how long he was messing up my electricity. At least 3 years. I just thought it was a cool photo.
i guess first thing in AM I start trying to figure out my new pest strategy.

thx Doug. = "Mosby"

Nice

Nice shots!! Which camera is that?

It's a 10 y.o. Nikon D-70 with a 105 I use for insects. It's great for butterflies but it tends to spook the dragon flies.

Well You have certainly had an interesting day

goss

Goss,
Did you see Martin's bee "love" photo? That's something you just never get to see.

So, Michael, you got me with that middle photo. What little critter is that?

We call them wheel bugs -- just assassin beetles to everyone else.

thanks for the pics, mike. totally fun!

i've given up on traps alone. some mice are too smart for them. much as i dislike the idea, i'm using poison bars too, to get complete control.
couldn't use them before, but my poor doggie died last year [she was only 13, sob], so now i'm unleashed to kill at will.
