Just some pics around the orchard/backyard fig plantation!

We are finally getting much needed heat in the north east! We went from days in the 50's and 60's right passed 70's 80's even low 90's right to the mid 90's! It's hot! And the trees have happy little figlets!

Nice - glad to see some figlets for the season.  Surely - you will enjoys the ripe figs in the summer.

I am in DFW area (zone 7b).  Most my trees are young (3 years or less).  I have Celeste and Brown Turkey that are 3 years and showing figs for the past 2 weeks.  Some other unknowns are still young and may NOT produce any this year.  Surely - you will enjoys the ripe figs in the summer.

I am in the northeast, too.  The weather has mostly destroyed my spring crops sadly.  I have 9 fig trees of various sizes and all but two seem to grow before my eyes.  I have a brown turkey fig tree that gets little buds appearing late in the day and the next morning the future leafs stick out about 1/2".  This is repeating itself almost daily now.  Some of my small ones just took off, too.  I am not close to having any fruit, like you are, but am very excited about the upcoming season.

Great pics!  Kinda jealous here :)

Wish I had your setup

Looks like you have the touch Justin. Your trees look healthy and happy!

Justin your Black Madeira looks awesome!  You got your Angelos Dark leaves nice and dark too!  I can't wait for you to try each of these once they ripen on a hot summer day!

I could hardly wait myself Nick! Lol

Great healthy looking trees! How are those pots working out, just uppotted my Latarrula to one.

Nice.  Do these start in a greenhouse, or am I just seeing the benefits of being in NJ rather than RI?

I started them in my sun room in late February

Where did you get your Black Madeira from? It looks great! I had one from Portugal but it froze last Winter. :(
