This is a very generous, supportive, positive place ( particularly lately). I think the new "crop" of fig enthusiasts ( those who joined in the last few months or so) have been some of the nicest, positive, respectful new members we've had in recent memory. Everyone has been very grateful for cuttings received and that really makes me excited for the future of this forum!

This is a great forum, Bill. I attribute this greatness to you and of course to Encanto Farms (Peteandiago?) and others who have paved the way for us newbees. The generosity of many here is appreciated!

As a longtime lurker and new member, I'm loving it here. Fig folks are nice folks.

A lot of people put emphasis on popular/exotic cultivars, which is great because it highlights some of the better fig varieties; however, I am most interested in the figs our members love regardless of pedigree. Currently Growing: a bunch of varieties.

I must respond now, also. I am grateful and thankful for this forum and for all of the great information. I waited a working lifetime for my retirement years and the time to "play" with with plants and try to grow them. I found this forum and these great and helpful people and it has been a joy. Thanks to all for taking the time to share information.
