Kathleen Black Breba Pixes

These pixes were taken on July 12 2010
This is Kathleen black breba,on third year inground tree.
I see a bright future for this cultivar.
It is resonably cold tolerant,Large, rain resistant, and excellent tasting.
Only Maltese Falcon main crop was better from large black figs, but we know that Breba can't compette with main ,because it is inferior in taste.
I am looking forward to taste Main crop from this cultivar.
Happy gardening to all

Looks good Herman (trusting your judgement).
Is the text editor behaving differently now? Many posts have missing pictures.

My rooted Kathleen's black was received this spring, and is in a pot right now. It has not fruited yet. So I can't comment on the fruit. But it appears to be a very strong grower.

Herman It does indeed look like a very promising cultivar. Especially the fact that you have yours planted in ground and your brebas survived the winter.

Herman your Pictures did not up load, Can you repost showing also the size of your in ground plant?

thanks. Bob

Herman......your photos did not post.

Thanks, Dennis, I thought I was going crazy again.

You are, Jason, unless he reposted them because I can see the pics.

I am looking for a Kathleen's Black Fig cutting or tree - I just bought a house and want a fig tree - so am just beginning to learn about them.

Can someone help me find a cutting - looks like that is all I can get for this type of fig so it will take a few years!

Thank you!

LOOKS GOOD HERMAN

Austin
