Picked it probably a day early but I have been losing figs to critters and was feeling anxoius. It was very good not great, needed another day on the tree. This is the 3rd Kadota I have had from this 2nd year tree. I am surprised at how sweet Kadota is and a nice taste to me, no tough skin as I have heard about it either, very nice.

Frank, I got it at the end of the year 4 years ago as a small start directly from Gene Hosey, planted it in ground this spring after seeing Herman's in ground KB. Thanks Tim, this is one you will be very happy with!!

Im hoping my recent good fortunes will all root!

Well if they don't I got you covered

wait, are you saying KB is the same as Kadota? ;)

Kadota is probably the most underrated fig out there . If the weather is dry it is great . If wet it bites .

Bob, no I posted pics of each on this thread, look at the pics you will see. Yes John, I agree, Kadota is very good, probably suffers from being too common. It is super sweet if left on long enough.
