Kathleen's Black and VdB breba.

KB was a runt. it wasn't any where near the VdB or the KB breba i had about a week ago. on the other hand VdB was just amazing. burst of flavor.. raspberry.. it was shocking when i took the first bite. the taste just spread into my mouth. the crunch was very light on this one. amazing thing is this VdB breba started turning color yesterday and it was hanging low and ready to eat. i'm sure leaving it on for a day more would have it made it even better.

KB on the left, and VdB on the right. the one with red pulp is the VdB.

this is VdB.

Hey Bullet thanks for showing the pictures i truly enjoy looking at them.
Its getting closer here little by little but dont want to rush the season cause once its here i know whats to follow . ; )

Martin,

I know what you mean... One of the reason I have late varieties. Keep the season longer. I'm lucky our weather here holds out longer.
