Khurtmani should be cold hardy

Khurtmani should be cold hardy, this is a general statement.  I assume since the variety known as Khurtmani is in fact Brunswick according to most fig experts in Israel and elsewhere then "Khurtmani" should be a cold hardy variety.  I only posted this for those who may search for info on cold hardiness like I have in the future and may not be sure if they can grow "Khurtmani" in ground.  I have yet to find anything on any other Israeli or Syrian varieties as far as cold hardiness.  Any insights would be excellent!

Most of the Syrian varieties that I introduced had survived winter in the ground in our area for many years. some where a bit on the sensitive side.

Hey thanks for your response Bass!  Could you recommend a variety based on hardiness, yield and flavor?  Do you have cuttings available?
