Krmk Light - fig photos

Just picked this one a couple of nights ago, perhaps needed another day on the tree.  Slightly tough skin, slight figgy flavor & seed crunch, maybe a hint of melon flavor (?) and not sweet.  Not bad just not sugery sweet.  I liked it.  Sorry, I couldn't rotate the photo of the fig eye.

Picked another one today which was much riper.  Very noticeable honey flavor and consistency.  Much better than the first fig.

Sounds good, Steve.  I've got one rooting.  The Krmk dark I got from you was good too.  Thanks again.  =)

Hey - I'm Italian: I'm use to too many vowels. This Krmk got no vowels. So, how do you pronounce it? I want to buy a vowel, please.

I've struggled with question myself....lol.

The figs are from a family that are Montenegro-Americans. They were originally from Montenegro on the Adriatic sea, but the figs are from their Italian-American neighbors in the Bronx, NYC. Its pronounced Kre-mik with the K sound of Kelloggs.

Ahhh, thanks for providing the pronunciation, Pete.  It makes it much easier to remember the variety, at least for me it does.  Thanks again.
