Adriano says that this is an excellent Portuguese variety, Lampeira. I understand that there is a dark variety also, Lampeira Preta. This is the light one, Branca. Very healthy in a one gallon, for shipping cost only. Happy to help newbies, but anyone wanting this variety is welcome. Just PM me and it's yours. Supporting a drama-free forum.

Gary, I applaud what you are doing, giving is good, it is the right thing to do as long as you can. This late winter and next spring will be my time to give. Thanks for the inspiration. Keith does this a lot also. Good members. I may give some to members that have never posted. All they would have to do is an introduction and hopefully we can get a lot more members posting and getting involved. That will be another thread. You know Lampiera is a San Pedro fig like Desert King...main crop needs caprification. Just a heads-up.
