Lansdale

You never know what you can find on Craigslist. Last year there was ad in Craigslist for a fig tree, the town was about 45 mins away from me. After calling the lady I knew it was an unknown fig. She said it was a white fig that her cousin got her from Greece many years ago. I drove down and the old lady who can barely walk showed me the tree and handed me the tiny plant ( about 3-4 inches) in a small decorative vase. It was something like $30, so I brought it and it grew well.
Earlier this summer I picked the first breba. It's clearly not a white fig. Was really sweet for a breba, I'm waiting on the main crop.
What do you think?

Time will tell you the rest...

Looks interesting!

could be another great find

The outside of the fig resembles Celeste. Do the leaves look Maltish at all?

Has both very looong stem&neck; it MUST droop when ripe...

Looks like a keeper.  Let us know how the main crop figs are.

Yes it droops, and resembles a Celeste somewhat... But I've never seen any brebas on a Celeste. The funny thing, the lady it was a white fig, she has never seen any figs splitting on the tree.
