Perhaps you can update thread with pictures when there ripe also.
Thanks.

Mr. Paully22;

Recently there have been a number of postings with similarly named figs, i.e.... "Black Greek" etc....now we have your "Large Greek Dark".

Can you tell us the origins, source of cuttings, or, anything else to help separate your fig from the rest, or do you think they are, or might be,  all the same variety?  Perhaps some photos of leaves and split figs will help.

I'm wondering if all these "Greeks" that have shown up lately are "Aboukounis Black"/"Chios-C" from Belleclare stock?

Nice tree, by the way....good luck.

This is the same fig Adriano has on his web site. This fig was discovered & named by Prof Bostock
in Vancouver, B.Columbia. I have had this variant for 5 yrs. Its taste got better since last year. A
very sweet juicy fig. This is another keeper. I like this one better than the other dark greek I have.

Due to warmer 2013 spring weather, this fig ripen in late July. Most seasons this fig would ripen from late 2nd week Aug. onwards.
SEE THREAD "MORE PIC'S LARGE GREEK DARK"

Thanks for the information and link.
