I visited a pennsylvanian Dutch farmer this summer who grows a few fig trees. This fig caught my attention. It's a jumbo size fig. The owner mentioned that it was collected from an old historical Virginia farm. It was by a compost pile.
This tree is kept in the greenhouse, and grown in a pot. The flavor was good but not great. If it was grown outside or in ground, flavor can be different.
