Last Adriatic of the season

Got home yesterday and noticed the darn squirls had knocked my little plant down and the fig was on the floor not fully ripe but still tasted extremely good.

Plant is in its second season slow grower only grew 2 figs this season and both ripened 3rd week of october.

What strain of Adriatic is that?

I have an JH and it was excellent but more green and no sugar spots. KEEPER!

Looks good Nelson. Just gotta get them rodents.

Dominick this is Adriatic 0-11 from Jon. Excellent tasting fig

Dan, I have a squirls nest on one of my trees in my backyard the good news is that tree with be cut down in the next 2-3 weeks  cant wait. These darn squirls also stole all my Paradiso Nero figs this year only ate 3-4 from my inground tree.

They stole all my atreanos too I got punked by a tree rat.

Here is another Adriatic that was picked on oct.19th sorry about picture quality not the greatest.

Dan I got punked hard this year by tree rats & Ants

I didnt have a problem till my hawks left. Lol that one looks real good buddy. I may have to add that strain to my collection.

Dan neither one was fully ripe and the flavour was amazing. Definately recommend this one.

I have no doubt this Adriatic 0-11,is the same Adriatic, that came from John H ,Garden, and is called, rightfully so,JH Adriatic.
It has different leaves compared to California collection Adriatic, and grows much better.
Last week,I also had a few ripe fruits and there are more to come.
My favorite white so far.

Joe Hood= JH

Hey Vasile, I think you are correct adriatic 0-11 has different leaves than the UC Davis one but this one too has FMV and I believe JH adriatic does NOT that might be the only difference between Adriatic 0-11 & JH Adriatic. Excellent tasting fig my best white so far as well.
