I am spending my last hours in Turkey…

I am presently at the Attaturk airport in Istanbul and I have arrived a few hours ago on a flight from Antalya. I now have to keep myself awake until 5:00 AM (Turkey local time) so I can catch my flight back to Germany.  I have accumulated several pictures and videos and information concerning figs in Turkey and in the next few weeks I will slowly start publishing what I have gathered.

Once again I have to say thank you to Ingevald for helping me indirectly on gathering the relevant information for my trip.

(Besides figs there has been some inflation in prices since my last trip 5 years ago and I had to slightly cross my budget limits)

I am back now and I have started the work on the videos. One thing that is unfortunate is that one of my memory cards died and this occasioned a partial data loss of some of the videos and pictures. I did not have all the time that I wanted to do all the videos I wanted. However, I have a few videos that should be enough. For the rest I will publish a few articles that I will write on my web site in the next two months. For now I am concentrating on editing the videos I made. The main issue that I am working on is to stabilize the videos due to the ''shaking hand effect'' while I was filming. My biggest video which lasts one hour is probably going to take an entire day of computer processing to stabilize the video.

I have to say that I am not a professional camera men but I did my best and I used an HD camera which should be more appealing to watch. For the one hour video there is going to be a DVD for private distribution only.
