Late season Figo Preto

I just picked these Figo Preto figs and they were delicious!  Especially for the middle of November!!!  This variety is a real winner!!!

Enjoy the pictures!

Great pics, those figs look amazing!

Great fig. I put mine into winter storage yesterday, still has 4 fruits darkening and full leaves, it doesn't want to sleep! Weird :/)

I'm picking my last two tonight.  I told my wife I was feeling generous and would give her one.

Raf,
Two of mine are still wide awake too.  They are the last of the bunch to have leaves and they aren't even changing color yet!  I guess they can't let go of their native climate.

Nice fruit pics, I'm sure San Diego still has plenty of warmth for a delicious fig.

Tree looks nice Frank, lots of green wood on it, you better set that one closest to the house and/or farthest from the garage door.

My thinking is that I can shuffle it until the daytime temps are below 38°f to encourage dormancy.  It's not putting out any new leaves, but just stagnant.  I've had it outside with a few frosts already and it's still not wanting to drop!  Good, I guess, but it's bedtime for this guy.  I've got another one doing the same thing.

Awesome! Just beautiful
