Late season Ischia Black fig

This one surprised me by showing up on my smaller Ischia plant.  We're getting some more rain so I thought I should pick it.
I thought I'd mention this website again.  He has an interesting procedure for tackling nematodes on larger potted figs trees.

Wonderful red interior , how did you like its taste this late in season.

I had trouble finding the info on nematodes.  Lend a hand?

Hi, The yellow background column on the right has a link on its bottom section that says recovering a fig tree using air layering.  Near the email link with the flying plane.

Hi Martin,  It did not have that concentrated sweet jam consistency near the eye that the summer figs had but I don't think you can get that now with the cool weather here to stay.  It was still sweet though.  It really does have a nice red interior.  Its currently 56 F and raining here.  I don't know if its chemistry or something but for me I ate it when it was still cold and I think the sweetness comes out more when they are still warm from the sun or at least room temp.
