Lazy Fig lover needs help.

I am lazy - or say careless.

I collect cuttings where-ever I find a tree.  In the last 3 years - I got cuttings from 10 different trees in the neighborhood or  around the city.  Examining the leaves - I know I have Brown Turkey, Celeste for sure.  And what other unknown cuttings are starting to leaf out and grow - I am clueless.

Being lazy - I don't ask what varieties they are OR tag them properly.  (Except Black Madeira I got from UC Davis - I am growing it in a pot and labeled it).  So, for my fig friends - here are 2 figs that have leafed out and I need help to identify.

For the 1st cutting - the tip and the leaves on the very top has a light purple shade.  Is any particular fig has that feature.  My other figs are always green from the very beginning.

for the 2nd one - there is no special features - except this one seems very vigorous.  I placed the cutting straight in the ground and this particular place only get 1 hour early morning sun and some indirect light in the afternoon.  And rest of day is mostly shade and no direct sun.  But - it seems to grow better or faster than other cuttings I have in full day sun.

That 1st pic with the purple reminds me of my Mt Etna varieties. The leaf looks like it also. Which one exactly you may never know.

Without fruit, mature leaves, ripening calendar and comparison to other known cultivars it is very difficult (impossible) to determine what variety it is. Good luck.

1st pic looks like my Chicago Hardy, new growth is reddish, but without seeing/ tasting the fruit, I can't be sure.

Then there's some varieties that develop different leaf structure as they grow, so, again, no certainty for now.
Good luck!

TXAmanda - thank you for responding to my post.  Now that you mentioned about Hardy Chicago and I looked several photos in Google Images - it does resemble with HC.  I will be happy if it turns out to be HC because I was looking for one.  It is in the east facing - gets sunlight from dawn to about 3 PM during summer.  I am hoping it will produce some fruit this year.  It was a cutting I planted in the ground around Dec/Jan and started leafing out 3 months ago. This is NOT as vigorous as other cuttings.  Is HC a slow grower?
