Lazy Man's Guide to Air Layering

1. Fill pot
2. Bend branch
3. Place rock

Nice. Why didnt we think of that. I have a huge azalea tree. Hurricane Katrina blew a huge tree over on. Well it is now a endless source of airlayers. Nice suggestions.

If i get lazy i just get a pot take off all the leaves on the branch put the stem in the middle pot whole fill with the mix and water it should grow leaves during the rooting process

That is the oldest air layering method on this earth!  You can even bend the branch into a pot with the rock for an anchor, and it will root there.  If it wasn't raining so hard today, I'd go out and do this to a few figs.  I have many candidates, and I owe some people, and I have a lot of rocks.  I do fear gophers eating the roots, though.

LOL nice. I had a man I purchased figs from. This was his method for all of his new plants.
