Leaf color

I have several rooted cuttings that are leafing out but they are a very pale yellowis green not really green.  They are in the storage bins in my room not near any light.  Should i move them to somehere with more light?  Also, how long do you keep them in clear cups?  Some of them the roots are almost out of the cups.

a bright lime green colored (yellow-green) initial leaf is normal.  they don't darken until the leaves start getting fuzzy or have some tooth (like a cats tongue).  some varieties just have light colored leaves, while some are darker.

Hi Petea,
like Jason said some come out more lite colored .
Usually the fig plants leaves come out more light colored and darken with time and as plant matures just like some younger leaves have 3 lobes and eventually get 5 lobed leaves some even 7 depending on the type of plant.
If your cups have that many roots yes i would transplanted it and put by a window. Try to keep the temperature steady for them and dont overwater they need very little  at this stage.

if you're started the cuttings indoor with limited lighting, they usually will come out lighter colored. I start mine in the greenhouse and they benefit from the light, they're usually darker.

FWIW, if they were started in low-light or under fluorescent lighting, I would probably put them in a room with indirect sunlight (sunny room, no direct sun contact) or filtered light (translucent curtains or thin paper shades) before moving them directly to sun.

It could be overreaction, but the thought of going from low-light or no-sunlight to direct full sunlight scares me.

i have them in a bedroom where they get a little filtered light i will aclimate them slowly
