Leaf Problem

Could this be that the plant is giving up  water, faster than the root can bring it to the cells in the leaf? I have seen this in other types of plants before. The cells of the leaf just dry up and die. Causing the brown places on the leaf? There is a name for this but can't recall it.

Surprise! It's already getting better, the first photo and the second are the same leaf. I tried for a pic of the topside but it's got too much Sevin powder to let us see. I guess hitting it with all that stuff is working but I don't know which one worked.

The Mykos and Azos will be here tomorrow and I will give it more. I only had a little bit left from the sample. I had to save some for the 2 babies Jake and Mike were sending. (Thank you so much you 2)

I hope someone recognizes something in the new photos. This is such a puzzle but I believe it may have been a deficiency as suggested or a parasite because the Sevin seemed to help by last night but I couldn't take pics, it was too dark.

Good job, what ever was the cause as long as its getting better. I know we all would like to figure out the real cause but
some times that is not going to happen.

Tami, I'm kind of late to this discussion, but the same thing happens every spring here on certain in ground trees while others are completely unaffected. It seems to be a combination of too much sun on tender leaves and lots of wind this time of year. My trees show no pest problems. Whatever it is, it does not affect the trees at all. Don't worry about it. Those leaves will eventually fall off.

I really appreciate that Tim. I guess it just stands to reason they can be affected by the winds. That stuff can blow a person bald headed!

Your thread was what inspired me Doug. It really works!
