Lebanese Red first fig

I obtained a Lebanese Red cutting in February from a generous forum member.  It started out to be a slow grower with some fmv but then took off in the middle of the summer.  I left two figs on and one of them ripened yesterday.  I was quite impressed with the flavor for a first year fig.  It tasted a lot like the 2nd year Mt. Etna types I've been eating (Sal'sEL, Takoma Violet, MvsB) except that it was a bit sweeter.  I'm definitely looking forward to what next year will bring for this variety.

Congrats. Is that in a SIP/SWP of sorts or regular pot.

Yes, a 5 gallon SIP.  Now that I think about it, the growth took off once it adapted to life in the SIP which is pretty common.
